{"id":380,"date":"2017-05-07T05:51:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-07T05:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/simpreative.in\/Projects\/marian-staylor\/?p=380"},"modified":"2024-03-06T00:10:21","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T00:10:21","slug":"hopi-wisdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simpreative.in\/Projects\/marian-staylor\/hopi-wisdom\/","title":{"rendered":"Hopi Wisdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have a favorite passage that seems to circle around at critical times.\u00a0 I love the messages.\u00a0 It is entitled:\u00a0<em>Hopi Wisdom.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0It clearly speaks of feeling the flow of life when we feel stuck or we are holding on to \u2018something\u2019 too tightly.<\/p>\n<p>We are called to allow for \u2018the flow\u2019\u2026 the flow of life\u2026 and the flow of the universe that is in everything and connects us to everything and each other.\u00a0 It is like the river current that takes us down life\u2019s many paths and beckons us on\u2026 and on\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Many live life working against the current\u2026 feeling that there is a best way and holding on to the shoreline in a sense that allows for our need to control\u2026 control the path\u2026 control the outcome\u2026<\/p>\n<p>When we let go of the shore and allow ourselves to ride the flow of the current\u2026 it takes us where we need to go and places us where we need to be\u2026<\/p>\n<p>There is no prescription or rule book, just a willingness and courage to let go and go with the flow\u2026 and feel our connectedness with Spirit\u2026connected to a force greater than ourselves\u2026and in so doing\u2026\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 allowing for the feeling that where we are and where we are going is \u2018just right\u2019\u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>Please experience Hopi Wisdom\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Hopi elder speaks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.\u00a0 And there are things to be considered . . .<\/p>\n<p>Where are you living?<br \/>\nWhat are you doing?<br \/>\nWhat are your relationships?<br \/>\nAre you in right relation?<br \/>\nWhere is your water?<br \/>\nKnow your garden.<br \/>\nIt is time to speak your Truth.<br \/>\nCreate your community.<br \/>\nBe good to each other.<br \/>\nAnd do not look outside yourself for the leader.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, \u201cThis could be a good time!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a river flowing now very fast.\u00a0 It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.\u00a0 They will try to hold on to the shore.\u00a0\u00a0 They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKnow the river has its destination.\u00a0 The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. \u00a0 And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.\u00a0 At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all ourselves.\u00a0 For the moment that we do,\u00a0 our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe time for the lone wolf is over.\u00a0 Gather yourselves!\u00a0 Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary.\u00a0 All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are the ones we\u2019ve been waiting for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 attributed to an unnamed Hopi elder<\/p>\n<p>Hopi Nation<\/p>\n<p>Oraibi, Arizona<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a favorite passage that seems to circle around at critical times.\u00a0 I love the messages.\u00a0 It is entitled:\u00a0Hopi Wisdom.\u00a0\u00a0It clearly speaks of feeling the flow of life when we feel stuck or we are holding on to \u2018something\u2019 too tightly.
