At the present time we are cloaked in a blanket of snow.\u00a0 It is beautiful and it is challenging\u2026 but there are occasional peeks of sun that bring hope for the Spring that is beckoning us forward.<\/p>\n
These days, my attention has been consistently drawn to the trees\u2026 standing tall\u2026 and silent \u2026 waiting\u2026 How strong they are\u2026 how resilient\u2026 how majestic.<\/p>\n
I have recently been reminded over and over\u2026 to be like the tree in winter\u2026 \u201call of life needs to rest and take time for incubation\u201d\u2026 \u201clearn to honor the peace of rest\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n
We are so busy\u2026. doing, doing, doing\u2026 we feel that \u2018doing\u2019 is a sign of success and worth\u2026<\/p>\n
There is another part of the journey\u2026 to go within and just \u2018be\u2019\u2026.\u00a0 to surrender to the silence and nourishment offered\u2026 to be like the tree and answer the call\u2026 to wait, as if silent, for the new day\u2026 the sun\u2026 the warmth\u2026 the bringing forth of new life\u2026 the new leaf\u2026 the lush green canopy\u2026 the crowning glory of spring time.<\/p>\n
