I was in a bookstore the other day. It is a big book store with two floors to peruse. We were there to pick up a book we had ordered and then we went downstairs to the Bible section … I was looking at different versions and suddenly a woman reached in front of me and held a Bible up to a satchel she was holding in her hand… she remarked… “It doesn’t fit”…
I said something about what a good idea it was to bring the satchel so that she could check on whether the Bible would fit into her satchel… she said she was buying it that day. Then, she began telling me that God had spoken to her and that He had clearly said, “Do you see what I see?” She said that she looked out her window and wondered what she was seeing… but the voice said, “Do you see what I see?” She knew that it was beyond the physical items in her world or her environment… she related her experience and the four scriptures that had been spoken to her…
I listened intently… I wrote the scriptures down that she had heard … She was very emotional about the words she had heard and after I had listened to her story and written down the scriptures… she asked if she could hug me… I agreed and we hugged… she was crying… I told her to have courage…
